About

I have created this site in hopes to help other parents and educators shape their environments, further their knowledge, and provide inspiration through Montessori theory, action, and practice. 

A little about me...

I currently teach primary-aged children at a small non-profit Montessori school located in Juneau, Alaska.  I received my training from the Montessori Institute Northwest in 2009, and also hold a MED in Montessori education.  I am currently finishing my 5th year in the classroom, and my 15th year at my school.  Because of this, I am often looked upon by parents and colleagues alike to share my knowledge and expertise in child development, Montessori theory, and the prepared environment. 

As I find myself falling more and more into a leadership role, I'd like to focus my future on a transformational journey, focused on inspiration, change, creativity, and coaching.
